Used to scour wheat and remove dust, sand and small seeds. It breaks up adhering soil and particles, reduces bacterial load and removes insects and grains still attached to ears. Wheat enters the scouring chamber directly. A rotating steel rotor removes the outer material and its paddles guide the cleaned wheat to the outlet. Air carries the separated husks and dust through the steel mesh around the rotor.
